  • CudSpan, Chris Despopoulos -- all free: PgfWhopper, MarkerWorker, TocBreaker, HuntOverrides, BookLooker, RefIcons, DoBatch, TreePrint
  • SYSTEC Toolbox -- basic package (free) lets you delete unused paragraph, character, table & cross-reference formats, user variables and colors (in documents or books)
  • mif2go (RTF/HTML conversion), by Omni Systems
  • RoboMIF -- saves MIF files for the entire book, or MIF files for all open FrameMaker documents, in a folder named "MIF for RoboHelp" (created under the current document or book folder). To install the plug-in, unzip into the Plugins folder (typically C:\Program Files\Adobe\FrameMaker7.x\fminit\Plugins) and then restart FrameMaker. (To use the plug-in, select RoboHelp > Save MIF. The output MIF is the same as you would get if you Save as MIF manually -- the plug-in uses FrameMaker's built-in MIF export).
  • MIF Muncher -- parses FrameMaker-generated MIF files to create reports for the formats used in the files (written by Jerry Muelver, functionality designed by Sheila Carlisle)
