Set additional/custom XMP (Extensible Metadata Platform) fields
automatically
With TimeSavers (PDF Settings tab), you
can specify values for Copyright Status, Copyright Notice text
& Copyright Info URL that will be applied automatically to
all PDFs you create.
[Note: The File Info dialog box in FrameMaker 7 or later has
similar fields, but they are not carried over to
PDF.]
Also, a default value for the Author field can be specified (e.g. company/department name), overriding any book/document values for this field.
Using the ~DocXMP custom TimeSavers shortcut, a text file (XML/RDF format) is referenced to define metadata fields, including fields custom XMP File Info panels (metadata properties that are not defined in default or other standard XMP schemas, but are needed for your application, company, or industry -- see example).
