Ways to Improve Your PDFs with FrameMaker-to-Acrobat TimeSavers/Assistants
Let users save search queries in Acrobat/Reader
Power search users may want to save search
queries so that they can easily re-use these in later sessions
directly (and optionally refine them).
Let users save useful search queries (applicable to the currently-selected search indexes), including all options relating to specific queries:
- Match phrase, match all words, match any word, or Boolean query
- Case-sensitive, whole word only, stemming, proximity (including number of words)
- Search in: document text, doc info fields, XMP metadata, bookmarks, comments, attachments
- Notes describing the search query
Queries can also be saved in the free Adobe Reader, if the PDF is enabled accordingly (Acrobat 8 or 9).
Example (PDF: 176K)
(distilled with TimeSavers+Form Assistant).
